Villa Positano lies on the rocky ridge, in one of the most evocative background of the world, this wonderful place take house into the natural stage of Positano, Praiano and the island of Li Galli.

Since 1400, its position, its peaceful corner, its supreme view made every foreign people happy and soon they built their residence right there in Positano.

There many artists, painters and poets found the quiet they where looking for; such as the German poet Stefan Andres (1937 – 1949). Escaped from Germany during the First World War he lived there for several years and there he took inspiration through the beauty of the olive groves and the grapes. Today the road that brings at the Villa takes his name.

Than the family Bertolli, famous for the fine olive oil they produce, lived there for almost 20 years. In 1968 Aniello Oliviero rebuilt the Villa.

As chief of the Italian Cookery Academy he realized some of the most incredible cooking event. Nowadays Antonio and Nello Oliviero developed Villa Positano into a luxury resort opened to all their friends from all over the world. There you will feel a warm welcome with the maximum comfort and privacy.

Villa Positano has been built on the rocky ridge above the sea and is based on four levels. The main gate brings to the upper terrace covered with grapes. The rooms are furnished with air conditioning, heating and telephone, and will offer you a supreme view on the gulf of Positano.

The huge dining room with a large sofa facing an ancient fireplace will comfort you and is full of old furniture; there you can enjoy satellite television with DVD, vcr and stereo system. You can also join the personal computer and adsl wireless internet connection.

From the dining room you have access to the master queen size bedroom Amalfi room, with air conditioning, heating and bath with shower; on the first floor there is also the big kitchen and from there you have access to the second level with two double bedrooms Capri room and Nerano room both with air conditioning, heating and bath with shower and wonderful view on the sea.

At the second floor Jacaranda room is a double bedrooms with en-bath and air conditioning, face to Praiano.

Walking through the main terrace full of bougavilles and hibiscus the little apartment (The Garden Room) with a double bedroom, kitchen, bath with shower inside the rock and of course air conditioning, heating and telephone line.

The kitchen has been equipped with professional items and there you can have your breakfast served on the old table that seats 10 people. Fried corner and barbeque are at your disposal.

At the lower terrace the swimming pool is completely covered with olive groves; there you can enjoy the sun on the chaise longue, have some cocktail, and you will find sun towels and a shower.

Aside the house there is also one more dependence (Li Galli) with double bed private bath with shower and available for two extra people.

Once there someone from our staff English speaking will meet you and there you will leave the car and the luggage. The house is staffed with maid, porter, gardener and the chef.
