Casa Marcanda is a beautiful and newly restored farmhouse located in an exceptionally environment,lush,varied landscape and woodlands in the marvelous Val di Chio. Close to the medieval town of Castiglion Fiorentino, very well known in the past for being a fundamental crossroad between Arezzo and Cortona. The Villa was only restored few years ago with much attention to details and preserving as much as possible of the original features. The view from the terrace and pool is breathtaking, you can admire all the beauty of the Tuscan countryside as well as a patch of the town . It is the ideal location to relax, spend some time immersed in and unspoilt nature, take nice walks of trekking paths but also explore the region. In fact many interesting locations like Arezzo, Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino can be reached in a short drive. Umbria is also very close, in fact in 20 minutes you reach the Lake Trasimeno with its lovely fishing villages

The house is compose of a very large and fully equipped built-in kitchen with a full range of modern appliances and utility cupboard, a furnished dining room with a large table for 10 people, fireplace, 3 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 2 extra beds, 4 bathrooms (1 with double shower and 3 with bath and shower). Laundry facilities and one extra fridge. A beautiful and large terrace with a dining table under the pergola, sun lounges and comfortable sofas. The very large pool is equipped with chairs sun lounges and umbrellas and has a little toilette and changing room, nearby also an outdoor shower.
