The house has been transformed from an ancient wine bar on 120 acres of one of the most beautiful valleys of the French Languedoc. There are six double bedrooms to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests.
The house and garden wing have been decorated to exacting specifications, providing a holiday with a standard of living you are comfortable with. The property benefits from a charming live-in couple who can help with everything from housekeeping to concierge.
The living space in the main house runs the full length of the building, from the grandeur of the salle des fêtes and the intimacy of the bar, to the twin islands of the open plan, professional kitchen and the comfort of the fumoir cinema space. The contemporary feel of the ground floor is complemented by 18th century fireplaces and the ancient wine tanks.
While the living areas of the main house are open plan for a wonderful social feel, they also have smaller salons and sitting areas for those cozy, calm, self-indulgence moments we all need either for a movie or a good book.
With two open fires and under-floor heating, the house feels warm and welcoming even during the crisp autumn and winter months.
The kitchen has been designed for those who love to cook and those who love to be cooked for. Should you wish to have some help preparing your meals, or a chef to do the job for you, arrangements can easily be made.
The ground floor and garden wing have direct access to the gardens, pool area, courtyard and tennis courts. The large windows and doors help to bring the outside in during the balmy summer days and evenings.
The garden wing has a less-formal sitting and games room (the salle des jeux); a luxurious, casual snug and play area to get away from the crowd.
